Picture Challenge, Day 11
So bad. I hate to admit it, but I’m a coffee snob of sorts.
When I go to my parents, my father and I brew two separate pots. Dad drinks what I like to call coff-tea. It’s virtually see through. A no-no in my opinion. We meet in the middle, either two separate pots or him diluting mine. Somehow we get along, coffee and political preferences aside.
And because I can’t just talk about something I hate without balancing it out with what I love, I am going to share some of my favorite coffees with you! (I’m a drink it every morning, can’t eat dessert without it sort of coffee person…)
We are fortunate to have a great coffee company here in Madison, called Ancora. I love their french sumatra blend. I should let you know I like my wine red and my coffee dark, rich and not burnt! (Not much Starbucks in my life.) Recently, on a trip to my favorite place on earth (Target, duh) I tried Archer Farms Fair Trade Tierra Del Sol and loved it. The best part is, you can buy a small sample size for $1.50 (ish) before splurging the $9(ish) to see if it’s right for you!
